Sean Kingston Sued For Alleged Gang Rape
Carissa Capeloto
-- now 22 -- claims she was forced to have sex with Sean, his bodyguard
and a member of Sean's band at a Seattle hotel in July, 2010, after she
had smoked pot and downed 7-10 shots of vodka.
Capeloto -- who
has sued all 3 men -- alleges she'd been invited to Kingston's hotel
room for a meet-and-greet following a Bieber concert -- where Kingston
had also performed -- but when she showed up ... Kingston was waiting
naked on his bed.
Capeloto claims the bodyguard picked her up and
placed her on top of Kingston, and all three of the men proceeded to
gang rape her while she was "obviously intoxicated, incapable of
consent."
Capeloto says her friend later entered the room and
rescued her. The police were called and Capeloto was taken to the
hospital where she says she was treated for physical injuries consistent
with rape.
She says her life has been ruined ... she can barely sleep, has mood swings and panic attacks. Capeloto wants $5 mil minimum.
BTW
... criminal charges against Kingston were dropped in 2010 after cops
concluded Capeloto wasn't credible enough for a legit case.
Kingston has filed legal docs insisting the sex was 100% consensual.
Trial is set for November.

Date set for release of Nissan's self-driving cars
Teaming with MIT, Stanford, Oxford and others, Nissan has already outfitted Leaf EVs with the Autonomous Drive (Nissan's brand name for the tech), a suite of new technologies developed from the brand's existing Safety Shield technology. The current iteration of Autonomous Drive uses the Around-View Monitoring system and laser scanners to analyze the environment, while artificial intelligence systems have been installed to help navigate and operate in a changing environment.
While it's easy to say that Nissan will bring the technology to market within the next six or seven years, it's more difficult to say at what price Autonomous Drive will be available. Most remarkable about all of this is Nissan's claim that self-driving cars will be both commercially viable and available at "realistic prices for consumers." It's expecting Autonomous Drive to be available across its range within two vehicle generations.
Nissan's motivation rests largely with the number of accidents that happen on US roads alone each year - six million accidents that cost consumers $160 million and kill more people between the ages of four and 34 than anything else. Considering the overwhelming majority of those accidents are caused by human error, this tech seems like a great idea.
Carlos Ghosn demonstrated Nissan's resolve towards bringing the tech to market, saying, "In 2007 I pledged that – by 2010 – Nissan would mass market a zero-emission vehicle. Today, the Nissan Leaf is the best-selling electric vehicle in history. Now I am committing to be ready to introduce a new ground-breaking technology, Autonomous Drive, by 2020, and we are on track to realize it." Those are some bold words, but what Nissan is promising now is far more complex than a new drivetrain. We look forward to seeing what it comes up with.

Chris Brown Rants Against 'Racist Ass' District Attorney
A week after Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James Brandlin signed off on an order of 1,000 additional hours of community labor as a condition of re-instating Chris Brown's probation, the singer went on a fiery Twitter rant against the legal system.
"[N---a] done 6 months community service wit police and the DA racist ass crying to the judge that I didn't do it," Brown wrote on Thursday night (August 22) of allegations that he did not properly complete the original 1,400 hour community service sentence from his 2009 plea deal to felony charges stemming from his assault on ex-girlfriendRihanna. "[F---] the SYSTEM!"
Brown was back in court last Friday when Brandlin reinstated the singer's probation from the 2009 incident under its originalterms and conditions, including the additional 1,000 hours of community labor, which was agreed to by Brown's camp and prosecutors, according to CNN. The reinstatement of the probation came after hit-and-run charges against Brownwere dropped.
Boy found under Arik plane tyre hole thought he was going to the US

Sources at Benin Airport said Daniel Ikehina ran away from home because he was being maltreated and was trying to escape from his parents when he joined the Arik flight. Unfortunately for him the plane wasn't flying to the US, it was flying to Lagos where the stowaway was immediately arrested as he alighted from the wheel well of the aircraft.
Daniel is presently in the custody of the State Security Service (SSS) who are trying to unravel how he managed to pull off such a stunt.

Lee Thompson's behaviour changed after embracing Yoruba?

E online.com
"The Rizzoli & Isles star, who was 29 at the time of his death, "didn't drink or party," says a source, adding, "He was the opposite. Lee loved to travel and was always the first to tell everyone to take a breath and enjoy the beauty of life." He was always "gentle and unassuming," despite his early success, and didn't have the typical "look-at-me" attitude.
That said, those close to Young noticed things "really changed" a few years ago when he began practicing Yorùbá, an Africa-based religion which has a saying, "iku ya j'esin", meaning "death is preferable to ignominy." Some have questioned whether this means that suicide is an acceptable way to preserve personal or family honor in the face of public shame.
However, Yorùbá culture icon and Chief Priest of Osogbo, Araba Ifayemi Osundagbonu Elebuibon, told the National Mirror earlier this year that the religion "[does] not support suicide. Their belief is that if somebody commits suicide, they will be punished in the hereafter."
The Famous Jett Jackson star "took [his religion] to the next level and started wearing white all of the time," says a source, adding, "This religion was everything to him." Although he reportedly took a break from practicing Yorùbá, he recently returned to the religion. Just before his death, he visited a small village in Africa for something reportedly related to the religion.

The World's Highest-Paid DJs
1. Calvin Harris - $46 millionHarris earned more than Jay-Z or Katy Perry this year—and
claimed electronic dance music’s cash crown for the first time in his career.
In February he signed on to play more than 70 shows over a two-year period at
Las Vegas megaclub Hakkasan, and pulls in additional cash from songwriting and
producing for pop stars like Rihanna. “The rise of dance music has been
astronomical in the last three years,” he tells FORBES. “I happened to be in
the right place at the right time..
2. Tiësto - $32 million
The Dutch-born DJ has been spinning for decades—playing over
140 shows last year—and he’s earning more than ever. Tiësto landed a lucrative
residency at Las Vegas superclub Hakkasan this summer, ditching his usual digs
in Ibiza. “I’ve been going there for the last 10 years, it felt there was
nothing special,” he tells FORBES. “And then I got the offer to play in Las
Vegas
3. David Guetta - $30 million Daft Punk contemporary David Guetta navigated his way
from the DJ decks of underground Parisian clubs to the upper echelons of Top 40
radio. He has made a name for himself by crossing into pop music and
collaborating with the likes of The Black Eyed Peas and Usher. Now 45, Guetta
shows little signs of slowing, playing more than 120 shows over the past year, including
appearances as a support act on part of Rihanna’s world tour and a weekly
residency at Ibiza’s Pacha.
4. Swedish House Mafia - $25 millionThe three members of Swedish House Mafia--Sebastian
Ingrosso, Axwell and Steve Angello--called an end to their group career in
March 2013. But they still made enough in an abbreviated year to crack the top
five on our list; all three are now pursuing individual careers (FORBES only
took into account performances where all three members performed as a group as
Swedish House Mafia for this valuation).
5. Deadmau5 - $21 millionThe
mouse-helmeted DJ has been collecting vast amounts of cheese despite performing
half as many shows as some of his peers, thanks to nightly fees in excess of
$200,000 at Hakkasan and other clubs and festivals around the world. He also
cashes in on recorded music, his own label Mau5trap and massive merchandise
licensing deals.
6. Afrojack - $18 millionNick “Afrojack” van de Wall seems to be enjoying his newfound
purchasing power: He bought a Ferrari 458 in February, wrecked it less than an
hour later and bought a new one the next day. Only 25, the Dutchman has already
crafted tracks for the likes of Pitbull and Chris Brown and owns his own label,
Wall Recordings. One of the marquee names in Wynn Las Vegas’ DJ lineup, he says
he turned down Hakkasan’s offer for twice his regular fee to remain loyal to
his current employer..
