Check out the first motorcycle produced in Nigeria

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has unveiled the first motorcycle produced in Nigeria, designed and manufactured by the National Engineering Design and Development Institute (Nnewi), a subsidiary of NASENI.
The 80C engine motorcycle was launched in Anambra state today. The agency is now asking the government to ban the importation of motorcycles, promising that with financial assistance, they can produce better motorcyles. WOW
The Vice Chairman of NASENI, Dr.Mohammed Haruna, said:
"About 20 million Nigerians today rely on motorcycles as a means of transport and many unemployed youths and men support their families or earn a living from running motorcycle as a commercial venture. Imagine the large number of jobs that will be created if only Nigeria could close her borders against the importation of motorcycles and allow entrepreneurs to invest in the manufacturing of the parts including production of the motorcycle locally.

Confederations Cup: Super Eagles smash SIX past Tahiti

Uwa Echijile - Nigeria vs Tahiti

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has pleaded with his players to be more ruthless in front of goal in the Confederations Cup after a string of missed chances in the 6-1 win over Tahiti.Despite the heavy margin of victory on Monday night, the Super Eagles wasted a number of opportunities when one-on-one with goalkeeper Xavier Simin. The five-goal triumph leaves the African champion top of Group B, however, and Keshi insists that he is pleased with the team's performance ahead of its game with Uruguay.

"We had some chances, they needed to bury the goals," he told reporters after the match. "When you play a game like this you tend to give the opposition team the confidence to come back.
"They scored their goal and reacted a little bit. I'm happy with how we did and we'll see how we get on against Uruguay."
Support in Belo Horizonte was largely in favor of the Oceanic side and Nigerian goals were not celebrated with much fervor, but Keshi says the crowd had little impact on his team.
"Most of the supporters are Tahitians or came out to boost their morale which is normal," he added. "As a professional player you don't need to worry about that."
Following the clash with Uruguay on Thursday, Nigeria will face a final group game against Spain on Sunday.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Should "Really Focus" on Their Premature Baby, Says Dr. Oz

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Should "Really Focus" on Their Premature Baby, Says Dr. Oz                            Dr. Mehmet Oz has some cautionary words for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: He knows first-hand what it's like to have a five-weeks-premature baby -- and it's not easy. Far from it, in fact. The host of The Dr. Oz Show spoke to Us Weekly at the Daytime Emmy Awards on June 16 in Beverly Hills about his thoughts on the new parents' pre-term baby girl. (A newborn is considered premature if born before 37 weeks of pregnancy; Kardashian and West's daughter was born June 15, after 35 weeks of pregnancy.) "I've been following Kim's story, which I have a personal interest in aside from being a doctor," he shares. "Our youngest child [Oliver] was born five weeks premature. So I know how hair-raising that is, and the most important thing to recognize is today, we can actually get kids to survive almost always, but if you don't manage them really well early on, they can grow up to develop all kinds of issues."
The new parents will need to really put the focus on their pre-term newborn in the coming weeks, he says. "We change how a child responds to a world around it in those first few weeks of life, so they ought to really focus in on that little girl."
"It's sacred, those first few months, for all babies but especially for the premature," he explains. "It's a sacred time. They should focus on the child."
Dr. Oz reveals that his own pre-term son left the hospital after just two days at the hospital, but once home, "he would turn blue and pass out, which would scare me. And I'm a doctor, so maybe they let him to my care [early], but it's a little nerve-wracking." The Oprah-approved celebrity doctor has four kids, Daphne, Arabella, Zoe and Oliver, with his wife Lisa.
