Man jailed for stealing Gov Aregbesola’s phone

A 31 year old named Kevin Ighodalo (pictured above), has been sentenced to 45 years imprisonment by an Osogbo High Court for stealing a Sony Ericsson phone said to be worth about N50,000 belonging to Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State.
Ighodalo stole the phone from the pocket of Aregbesola on November 27, 2010, when the governor was being inaugurated at Government Technical College, Osogbo.
Justice Oyejide Falola, who heard the case, found Ighodalo guilty on six counts, which included conspiracy, stealing and fraud.
He was sentenced to 10-year imprisonment for the first three counts and five years for each of the last three which included impersonation, obtaining property by falsehood and collusion.
Falola, who ruled that Ighodalo deserved the jail term, held that the convict used the phone to obtain N500, 000 from the Owa of Ilesa, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, while he obtained N200, 000 from Mr Shengen Rahman, an associate of the governor.
The jail term, which Falola pronounced will run concurrently, means that Ighodalo will spend the next 10 years behind bars.
Assistant principal state counsel, Mr Biodun Badiora, told the court that the convict had served six-year imprisonment in Ikoyi prison custody in connection with a murder case in 2005.
Counsel to Ighodalo, Mr. Ameachi Ngwu, prayed the court to commit him to community service, stressing that the convict should not be incarcerated but rather be placed where people could see him as a convict.

I Would Love To See Chris Brown With Jordan Sparks Than Rihanna -DAD

According to huffigton post This is what Chrisbrown's dad said "I personally really didn't want him and Rihanna back together," Clinton, 48, said in an exclusive interview with New York Daily News. In his opinion, they're not balanced, and relationships like these often end badly.

"I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse -- I mean I could go on and on!," continued the man who split from Brown's mother when Chris was six years old, but is reportedly still very much present in his life. "Is that a given -- that you can't have fortune and fame without [death] being the end result?"
And who would Clinton like to see his son with, if not with the "We Found Love" beauty? "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks, who collaborated with Chris on the 2008 hit "No Air."
"She's a wholesome young lady, very pretty," Clinton told Daily News of Sparks. (Wait oo eerm Riri is not pretty and wholesome?)

Balotelli ‘tells Real Madrid’: Win and you can have sex with my girlfriend

Balotelli said his model girlfriend is the 'first woman I feel comfortable with'

 Mario Balotelli

Mario Balotelli might have condemned himself to the doghouse with girlfriend Fanny Neguesha after he reportedly made a bizarre comment about the Belgian model ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

The former Manchester City striker is apparently so confident that Dortmund will qualify for the Champions League final, he is claimed to have said that he would allow the Spanish side’s squad to sleep with his girlfriend if they managed to upset the odds and pip the Germans to Wembley.

In Spanish newspapers AS and Marca, the Italy international was quoted as saying: ‘If Real Madrid come back in Champions League, I’ll let my girlfriend sleep with them!’

Dortmund ran Real off the park a week ago at the Westfalenstadion, with Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze and Marco Reus tearing a flimsy-looking defence apart.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich target Lewandowski netted all four goals in the 4-1 victory for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored Real’s only goal of the night, missed the Madrid derby clash against Atletico at the weekend and remains a fitness doubt for Tuesday’s encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Balotelli, apart from making controversial comments about his girlfriend, is lighting up the Serie A since leaving Manchester for AC Milan.

The 22-year-old has scored 10 times since leaving the Premier League, including a contentious penalty in last night’s victory over Catania.

Balotelli has previously spoken about his blossoming relationship with Neguesha.
In an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, the striker said his girlfriend was the ‘first woman I feel comfortable with’.

Michael Jackson ‘drank six bottles of wine a day in weeks leading to death

Drink: It has been claimed that Michael Jackson drank six bottles of wine a day leading up to his death

Caring: Michael chose Mark to be the godfather of his children, however Mark once claimed he could be Paris' father

Close friends: Michael was friends with Mark (far right) right up until his death in 2009

The godfather of Michael Jackson’s children has come forward to say that the King Of Pop drank six bottles of wine a day in the weeks leading up to his death.
His friend Mark Lester has claimed that the troubled star, who died of acute Propofol intoxication in 2009, used to get him to smuggle the alcohol into hotels past his strict security team in a desperate attempt to beat his insomnia.
Mark, who found fame as a child playing Oliver, also went on the claim that the Thriller singer was ‘paralytic’ at the press conference to announce his This Is It residency at London's The O2, which was scheduled to begin just weeks after he died in June 2009.
Mark, who is godfather to the star's three children, Prince, 16, Paris,15, and 10-year-old Blanket, told The Sun newspaper: ‘Michael passed out on the hotel bed. His doctor said he'd drunk two-thirds of a bottle of whisky and was paralytic.
He sobered up enough to struggle through the This Is It speech, which he just about got away with.’             Mark, 54, who was a close friend of Michael's right up until this death, gave an interview to the News of the World in August 2009 claiming that he could be the biological father of Paris Katherine Jackson, the late singer's daughter.
Lester claimed to have been a sperm donor for Jackson in 1996, and announced that he was willing to take a paternity test to determine whether he was the father.
In the same interview he claimed he had not been allowed contact with them since Jackson's death: 'It's very, very upsetting not being able to see all those children; they're my godchildren, and I love them dearly.'

Jim Iyke's ex-fiancee Keturah Hamilton claims she was acting out a script on his reality show

Jim Iyke's publicist claimed last week in a statement that the actor was not in a relationship with Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari because he was still in a relationship with his Jamaican fiancee, Keturah Hamilton. Well, according to a statement released today by Keturah's camp, she and Jim Iyke are no longer a couple. They actually broke up a while back. And she also claimed that Jim's reality show and her role in it was all scripted. See the statement from Keturah's publicist below...
Keturah Hamilton, Model, Actress, and Ex-Fiancée of Jim Iyke is ready to tell the real story after the Jim Iyke Unscripted show that was aired on April 17, 2013.
In a world where reality shows are an "In-thing" and bad behavior becomes the A.M. topic to cover, leave it to Jim Iyke Unscripted or better said the “_Scripted_” show to deliver real life drama. The episode that aired on April 17, 2013, did not disappoint the viewers who were glued to their TV’s watching Keturah Hamilton's role that was none the less excellent! She was really able to bring her character to the next level of entertainment
Keturah Hamilton had acted out an edgy script of jealousy and rage towards Jim Iyke, that was delivered as well as any actress in Hollywood. Keturah was so good that even her fans were astonished to see how well she acted and was able to challenge Jim on his bad behavior. Boldly, Jim gave Keturah the opportunity to exit the reality show based on the controversial episode. Even though a pre-recorded version of “Kiss and Make-up” was on stand-by to be aired, Keturah already had made her decision.
For the time being, Jim Iyke and Keturah Hamilton are no longer together because in reality, Jim’s bad boy behavior was just too overwhelming for the reality star. Keturah has decided to move on to the bigger and better things that her heart has long been looking to do. She quotes, "I wish Jim well on his show and hope that he matures into the man I always wanted him to be!" Keturah is currently in a new, reality-based show called "Diamonds in the Rough". We will see more of Keturah Hamilton on the big screen and on other future projects on the works because as they say, “It's not over until the fat lady sings!”

Cristiano Ronaldo cheats on his girlfriend with Miss Bum Bum Brazil

No wonder Cristiano Ronaldo didn't play well during Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund match on Wednesday April 24th (Real lost 4-1 to Dortmund)...he had sex two days before...lol.

Andressa Urach (pictured above right) is claiming the star footballer, who is in a serious relationship with Russian super model, Irina Shayk, slept with her in a £12,500-a-night Villa Magna hotel on Monday April 22nd. Andressa is 2013 Miss Bum Bum Brazil queen. She told The Sun UK that Cristiano got in touch with her after seeing her photos online, and had sex with her just a day after Ronaldo was pictured leaving a restaurant with Irina (pictured left).

Andressa said she took a taxi to the hotel that Monday and waited for Ronaldo at the Lobby. Ronaldo eventually arrived in a grey Audi R3 and parked in an underground car park before taking a private lift to his room, from where he texted her his room number. The beauty queen said the sex was great.
"It was incredible, his body's perfect, like a Greek god. He went on for hours and would not stop talking about my butt.'
Cristiano's girlfriend, Irina, is known as one of the world's top swimwear and lingerie models. Meaning her body is bad! Still he cheated on her. How much more us mere mortals! men oooo

Auto Accident: Okorocha leaves UK for Israel for Second Round Of Treatment

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has left London where he was receiving medical treatment for Israel, SUNDAY PUNCH learnt on Saturday.

Okorocha had left Nigeria on April 20, 2013, after he sustained a head injury in a car accident.
When our correspondent made an enquiry from one of his aides on Friday it was learnt that Okorocha had left London for Israel.

Okorocha’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Ebere Uzoukwa, confirmed that the governor had left London. “He has left London and he is doing very well. He is currently in Israel,” he said.
Another top government official, who pleaded anonymity told SUNDAY PUNCH that the governor was in Israel for a second round of examination.

Uzoukwa, however, denied that the governor moved to Israel on health grounds.

“He only went to Israel to attend to certain matters and will be back soon,” he said.

Okorocha was involved in a car crash on Orlu-Owerri Road in the state on April 19.
The accident occurred when a Mercedes Benz 200 ran into the governor’s convoy and had a collision with his own car.

Okorocha was on an inspection tour of projects in Orlu area when the crash occurred.
“The accident led to a minor cut on the governor’s scalp,” Uzoukwa had said.

He said Okorocha’s head was bandaged, but noted that he was stable and strong.

Okorocha had said he would seek further medical attention due to the level of impact of the accident on him.

“Although the accident left me with a cut and some minor injuries, I am fine. I will, however, seek further medical attention because of the degree of impact made by the crash,” the governor was quoted as saying after the crash.

UTME 2013: NSCDC official arrested for allegedly sending answers to candidates in the exam hall

UTME holds nationwide, records improvement
The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board for universities polytechnics, monotechnics, and colleges of education was held nationwide on Saturday with notable improvements this year, except for the few discrepancies in some centers.

Our reporter visited some of the centres in Ojo/Agbara area of Lagos state.

There was a mild drama in one of the three centres  (Faculty of Arts with centre No 36102) within the Lagos State University, Ojo. An official of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, one of the paramilitary bodies deployed by JAMB to provide security for the examination, was caught while trying to send some answers to some supposed candidates in the examination halls through two cell phones.

A microchip with solutions to Mathematics (Type A), was also found on him. The NSCD officer who identified himself as Kazeem Adewale was caught by the men of the LASU security guards.

Adewale initially denied, claiming the phones and microchips were given to him by his boss another female office whom she simply identified as Adesanu. But Adesanu denied the claim outright saying she neither gave the phones, nor the microchips to Adewale.

The suspect was later handed over to the police deployed from Ojo for the exam.
The other two centres were- Faculty of Law with Centre No 36109 and Faculty of Management Sciences with Centre No 36010.
The coordinator of the three centres Prof Sena Bakre who spoke to this reporter, urged JAMB authorities to beam their searchlight more on NSCD officials, fingering them as one of the abettors of examination rackets which are often recorded during JAMB.
A Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) Bakre said she suspected Adewale’s atrocities probably had the backing of his other colleagues especially his superiors at the centres, adding that since he had been arrested, they became suspiciously more nervous.

“For me, I no longer find this civil defence people dependable again. They are usually the ones that help many of these students get examinations answers either via cell phones or any other means. I think the authority should do something about this. This people have outlived their usefulness,” she said.

New couple on point Jim Iyke and Nadia Buari:

.....                       Is Jim Iyke dating Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari? We all know his official girlfriend is the Jamaican babe, Kenturah Hamilton, who he has been dating on and off for the past five years, but his friendship with Nadia is beginning to make us curious. Yes, it's my business to be curious about things like this...lol. His publicist this week denied any romantic relationship between Jim and Nadia but we all know they always deny these things until we find out the truth. For two people who aren't dating, Jim and Nadia seem awfully close. Jim hasn't been spotted with Kenturah in a while, so they might be taking a break. Has he moved on to Nadia? Let's analyze these photos and see what we conclude..:-)

The first and second photo above is Jim and Nadia in Dubai in March for 2face Idibia's wedding. Heard they came together and left together. Peep them holding hands in the right photo. The photo on the left below is the friends at an award ceremony in Uganda in December 2012. The next photo is Jim and Nadia arriving together at his Unscripted premiere in Lagos on Thursday April 18th. The last photo is Jim and Nadia playing around in a desert somewhere in Africa. She posted the photo on her instagram page yesterday and said something about being really happy! Right now, I really can't say if they are dating...but I will find out! I'm onto you two Jim and Nadia. wow so cute togetter...

UTME may not hold in troubled northern states

Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufa’i
Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Wednesday said the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination might not hold in troubled states in the North.
The examination, in which over 1, 735,720 candidates are expected to participate in will hold on Saturday.
Addressing journalists in Abuja, the JAMB Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. ‘Dibu Ojerinde, said the board “may not hesitate to stop the examination if there is any security problem”.
Responding to a question on security challenges in the country, Ojerinde said, “Yesterday it was a big discussion among some agents as well as JAMB. We believe that things will be all right. You see, we believe that we will surmount the problem.
“If however, there is any problem, we may not hesitate to stop the examination in those areas to the extent that we will now give the children a chance of doing the examination on CBT only.
“If you miss Paper Pencil Test in a challenging area that you cannot do the examination, then you will have to do the next one and that will have to be as from May 18.
“With God, we shall not experience any problem. We have put everything humanly possible in place, we have put this before God, and we believe he is not going to sleep on that day. But if there is a need for postponement in those places, we shall not hesitate.”
There have been reported cases of violence occasioned by the activities of the insurgent group, Boko Haram, in many states in the north in recent time.
Meanwhile, Ojerinde, said the Board had concluded arrangement for its first Computer Based Test in 70 centres across the nation from May 18 to June 1.
The CBT, he said, was an alternative to the Dual Based Test and PPT scheduled for Saturday.
Ojerinde said 1,629,102 candidates applied for the IPT, 15,008 candidates for the Dual Based Test while 91,610 candidates applied for the CBT.
He said the figure for 2013 showed an increase of 231,789 applicants when compared with last year’s figure of 1,503,931 representing an increase of 13.35 per cent.
Ojerinde said 145 visually-impaired candidates registered for the examination while 196 inmates registered for it from Kaduna and Lagos prisons.

Chris Brown gets his Lamborghini customised to look like a Hot Wheels car

Flashy enough?: Chris Brown had West Coast Customs' Ryan transform his Lamborghini into a Hot Wheels car

Party time: The singer had a great time with his famous pals Ne-Yo, Wiz Khalifa, Tyga and Tank

Chris Brown won’t be flying under the radar anytime soon, because there’s no way he can go unnoticed in his new car.
The singer has had his Lamborghini customised to look like a Hot Wheels car.
He may be all grown up now but the star is apparently still a child at heart and likes his toys as much as ever.

Chris, 23, probably also wants to ensure that everyone has their eyes on him when he cruises around Los Angeles.
He certainly stood out as he took the hugely expensive and eye watering vehicle out for its first spin.
Chris’ car made its debut at Supperclub on Tuesday night when its owner headed out for a night of partying..

Katy Perry engages in naughty Twitter banter with Rihanna over her recent strip club visit after 'pair fall out over Chris Brown'

She was said to be avoiding Rihanna following her reconciliation with Chris Brown as she reportedly 'did not approve'.
But it seems that Katy Perry is eager to spend time with the Diamonds star once again.
On Wednesday, the two pals engaged in some Twitter banter over Rihanna's recent trip to Miami strip club venue, King Of Diamonds Gentlemen's Club.
Friends again? Rihanna and Katy Perry, pictured here in February 2012, engaged in some Twitter banter over Rihanna's recent trip to Miami strip club venue, King Of Diamonds Gentlemen's Club, on Wednesday

Rihanna had tweeted several pictures of last weekend's expedition on her Twitter and Instagram accounts and Katy had clearly viewed them.
Not realising the raucous night out took place in Florida, the Fireworks star appeared a little miffed that she wasn't invited.
'Ermm…I was in LA Saturday night…Should I be proud or offended I wasn't invited @rihanna #WHOISTHISDOPPLEGANGER,' she tweeted her pal.
Why wasn't I invited? Katy sent several tweets to Rihanna appearing a little miffed that she wasn't invited to the big night out

Moments later Rihanna swiftly responded in her usual playful manner: '@katyperry errm I wasn't! Lol! #miaminights howeverrrrr....I'll still let you spank me!'
Katy then proceeded to try and set up some play time for a later date with her pal.
'Don't worry @rihanna I'll make it up to you at Barclays...,' she wrote. 'Or more like let you make it up to me... Hehehe @rihanna.'
Naughty response: Moments later Rihanna swiftly responded in her usual playful manner

Rihanna had visited the Florida strip club over the weekend after celebrating weed holiday 4/20 .
'Lastnight one of my fantasies came to life! I got to see K.O.D strippers dance for me to the stripper song I made! #PoItThePhuckUp,' she tweeted to her fans during the night. 'Wild for the night, phuck being polite!'
The Diamonds singer had no less than three costume changes as she celebrated 'weed day' on Saturday.
But her final ensemble for the evening's festivities was the skimpiest and most flattering of them all as she headed to the club in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, after a crowd-pleasing performance for her Diamonds world tour.

He may not be the most affectionate when the couple are spotted out in public together.
But when it comes to other men getting too close to Kanye West's girlfriend Kim Kardashian, it seems the rapper's jealous side kicks in.
The 35-year-old looked none to pleased when a friend of the pair planted a kiss on the reality star's head right in front of him during an outing in New York on Wednesday.

Kanye's blood looked like it was about to boil as Kim happily obliged, leaning her face and head in for the affectionate greeting.
The Touch The Sky star was left scratching his nose and looked extremely uncomfortable as he witnessed the meet and greet.
Kim meanwhile happily lapped up the attention, smiling as she leaned in close to her pal.

Very good way to wear ankara

I'm the female version of my dad" - Dominique Oputa says

Dominique Oputa is the last child of the areafada himself, Charly Boy. She currently lives in Atlanta where she's studying Fashion and Design in the University of Arts Institute. Her dream is to become a famous designer some day. Like her famous dad, Dominique has tattoos and piercings and is very fearless. In this interview with New Wave Productions, she talks about her life in the US, her father and his influence in her life. more photos...

Are you happy to be home; would you settle in Nigeria or you would finally settle abroad?
This will always be home for me, at least, it’s comforting to know one is with family, and I am glad to be home. I missed home, mum and dad. Things may not be what it should be, but home is it. There were too many things I took for granted before I left, but now I know better. When I’m done with schooling, I will be back home, to do my own thing too, even though, the weather is killing me right now”.
You are a child of two different cultures, how do you cope?
When I was home, I grew up fast; I had that independent spirit, so I’m coping real good. I am working now and schooling, I simply just thank God. Growing up with my parents kept me on the straight and narrow path, trust Dad, we all know how strict he gets sometimes, although I am old enough, I guess in his eyes, I will forever remain his baby. However growing up in Nigeria, prepared me for my independence. Nigerian children are more grounded than the Americans. We mature quicker and early enough to start taking responsibilities.
You look so much like your father in looks and style, is this deliberate?
I think I’m just the female version of my dad, we are just the same pretty much, I guess I caught his cold after years of being around him. I have always admired him for his freedom and his tenacity at a time when it was taboo to look that way. In my case, the whole thing just grew on me.
I don’t do all I do because I am trying to be like my dad. I am just Dominique, even though I wear tattoos and have piercings, but it’s just because I love them, not because I got influenced by my dad. There are many people who do this stuff, not because anyone, but because they are just comfortable that way.
What’s is your choices of career, and what influence does your dad have regarding that?
I want to be a designer and a stylist. I am like my mother in that regards. I like to make things, and I’m good with my hands too. As long as you walk that positive part and observe dad’s little rules, you are free to express yourself any which way creatively. Knowing the battle dad fought for his independence, it would be wrong for him to  remote us into something else that does not agree with our innate ability.
My dad didn’t influence my choice of career, it is just what I’ve always loved and desired to do. I have always had a love for fashion since I was in high school. I could say a little bit of influence as to his nature but not like I was pressured or told to do what I am doing now.
What is Charlyboy like as a father?
Like any normal parent, always looking out for their children and wanting the best for them. Most of the time, he is easy with us, especially when we are good. However, sometimes he is a bit old fashioned and can be very strict.
Growing up, he was really strict but I actually understand now that I’m grown that he was just looking out for me. People see him differently on the outside but to be honest, he is really a cool guy. He really understands and I could tell him anything. He is like an elder brother or a friend. Yes, I’m very close to my dad.
We all know there is no smoke without fire. How weird is your father, is he as weird as it is made public…like sleeping in coffins, having pythons as pet and even that his sexuality is questionable?
Hahaha…my dad is an entertainer, that’s what he does for a living, and as an entertainer you would attract all sorts, good, bad, ugly. It is their stock in trade. At home, we don’t see any of this, it’s as normal as it could ever be, but I guess people confuse his life as Charlyboy with his life as Mr Oputa, they are two different entities. The man I know as my dad is Mr Charles Oputa.
Do you share intimate stuff with your dad?
Yeah, I share intimate stuff with him. Once, I had shared the story of the birds and the bees with him and it wasn’t funny, maybe the timing was wrong. But we are still very close and we talk pretty well. I don’t feel like I need to hide anything from him, I just feel like I am an open book.
Are your parents still together? What is their relationship like?
Yes, they are still together. Every relationship is hard; there needs to be collective efforts to make it work. I think they have had a cool relationship thus far, though, they have their bitter moments sometimes, but what they share is worth emulating, it’s kind of what I would like to have in future, with my husband whenever I marry.
What about your mum?
She is cool. I love her; she has always been there for me. We have a very good relationship.
What about all the funny stories about your dad, how does it affect you, how do you deal with that?
Some pictures came out some few months ago and I really didn’t know how to react to it then. I know who my father is, but sometimes, people’s ignorance and bad words can get to you. That is the  price we all have to pay, for being Charlyboys offspring; but on the whole, I am proud of where I am coming from. I have a thick skin now so nothing anybody writes gets to me again. I just tell myself, I know who this person is and I am not going to get upset over words. It is something I have gotten used to over the years, so it no longer bothers me when he does some weird stuff. Sometimes, it gets so annoying being his daughter because I don’t like so much attention focused on me, I hate crowd around me. I am glad he is my dad, but sometimes it’s way too much.
How does being Charlyboy’s daughter help you?
I’m proud of my name, but I don’t go about telling people that I’am Charlyboys daughter. I even hide that angle, because you want to know who your real friends are, not based on something else. I don’t think anyone of us wears it as a badge.  I love to be seen as Dominique, not as Charlyboy’s daughter. Though, I am independent, I still love my family’s name and no one can make me feel bad about it.
What do you feel about Nigeria’s economy right now?
Nigeria’s economy is very bad. I feel like nothing is going to work anymore, like when something is so damaged beyond repairs. Over there, they are so ignorant; they still feel Africa is a jungle. I am also scared of the Boko Haram insurgence in Nigeria, even though people die everywhere; Nigeria already has a bad name that generates gossips in other countries after a small strike.
What’s that one bad habit you picked up from your dad?
I easily get angry, even though I am calm and easy going; the slightest things get me angry. My dad is a little bit short fused, though age has mellowed him down some little, I think we all took that from him.
What are the positives you got from him?
We are very focused in anything we want to do, and I am sure, all of us have that fighting spirit, the never say die attitude. We are also people friendly.
Are you a Christian?
I am pretty much a Christian, but I am not a regular churchgoer. I don’t like being forced to go to church. I don’t feel good about the fact that I don’t go to church anyway. In our family, we are more spiritual than religious.
