  Truth is, married people should practise safer sex too. It is important. Have fun practising safe sex.
Safer sex means sexual contact that:
Shows respect; is pleasurable; is freely consented to by both partners, reduces the risk of passing on any infections, reduces the risk of an unwanted pregnancy and is safe emotionally.
Sex is never an obligation – each partner has the right to say no. If a partner asks you to stop, you must respect this.
Many young people know that if they are considering having sex, it’s really important to make sure it is safer sex. It isn’t always easy, and it can be embarrassing, but talking about safer sex is a sign of respect.

The law:
In Nigeria, if you are 18 or over, you can have sex with another person: As long as that person is also 18 or over, and he or she agrees to have sex with you.
It is not an offence to have sex with someone who is under 18 if you are legally married to that person.
If you are under 18, it is against the law for a person in a position of ‘care and authority’ (for example, a teacher) to have sex, or to try to have sex with you.

What is safer sex?
Safer sex means sexual contact that does not involve any blood, semen or vaginal fluids being passed between partners.
We say safer sex rather than safe sex because sex can’t be guaranteed 100% safe. The best way to have safe sex is to be in a relationship where neither of you has sex outside that relationship and where you are both free of any sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and you use contraception if you do not want to become pregnant. Some people say the only form of safe sex is to abstain totally (not have sex at all) but most people would see this as being unrealistic.
Even when using condoms for protection, some STIs such as genital warts and genital herpes can be passed on because the condom does not always cover the affected area.

Being ready for sex
Young people can feel a lot of pressure to have sex. Friends may tell you they’re all doing it (sometimes even if they’re not). You see it on the TV and in the movies.
You might also feel pressured by a particular person. Or you might feel that it’s expected of you from a girlfriend or boyfriend.
Practising safer sex means looking after yourself emotionally. This means that you choose when to have sex and when not to, who with and how you have sex.
Safer sex activities
Some safer sexual activities (no exchange of body fluids):
Massage, hugging, touching.
Masturbation.
Social kissing (kissing with closed mouth).
Rubbing against each other.
Fantasy (just thinking about sex).
Kissing the body (clean skin, not sexual areas or open sores).
Saying no to anything you don’t feel comfortable about.
It is often assumed that these kinds of activities are only a lead-up to sexual intercourse. Many people find that these safer forms of sexual activity are more than enough to express their emotions and their love for each other.
Some probably safer sexual activities (there is not likely to be an exchange of body fluids)
French kissing (open mouth, as long as there are no sores and as long as the kiss isn’t so hard it draws blood)

Sex with a condom.
Some definitely not safe sexual activities:
Anything that allows blood contact.
Sex without a condom (unless you are in a relationship where you can be sure that your partner does not have an STI, and you are using some  form of contraception if you do not want to become pregnant).
Using condoms that have been used before, or continuing to use one after it has broken.
Getting body fluids, eg. semen, menstrual blood or urine, inside the body of the other person, eg. vagina, anus or on open cuts.
If safer sex does not happen
Sometimes, despite your best intentions, safer sex does not happen every time. Some people may be less careful if they’ve been drinking, and others may forget in the heat of the moment. Don’t give up on safer sex because of a slip-up. Keep practising safer sex. You may not have been infected when you had unprotected sex, but to continue having unprotected sex makes it more likely that you will become infected.
If you have unprotected sex, get tested for sexually transmitted infections such as Chlamydia. Chlamydia for example is common, easy to treat and can cause serious problems if not treated. Have STI testing regularly.

HIV
If you have unprotected sex with someone who is HIV positive, see a doctor as soon as possible. PEP (post exposure prophylaxis) started within 72 hours of exposure (the earlier the better) reduces the likelihood of getting infected with HIV

Negotiating safer sex
Starting a conversation with a partner (or potential partner) about safer sex can be tough.
It is often difficult to be assertive when negotiating safer sex.
You could worry about your partner’s reaction
You might worry about not knowing how to use a condom.
Many cultures don’t speak openly about sex and this can make it difficult because you’re just not used to talking about it.

Flood Disrupts Traffic On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

The journey of scores of motorist travelling on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway was interrupted by the flood which divided a large part of the road.
The flood which followed a heavy downpour on Tuesday divided the Lagos-Ibadan expressway around the Otedola Estate area causing traffic congestion of both sides of the road.

Pictures and comments on social media indicate that several other parts of the Lagos metropolis are flooded causing traffic congestion. Most residents of Lagos have been looking forward to the rain as a relief from the constant heat that comes with the dry season but the corresponding flooding seems to turn the blessings of the rain to a bitter curse.
In the last two years, Lagos and other states across the country had recorded fatal cases of flooding, while some were disastrous with property damaged and lives lost others were mild, leaving little or no casualties.
Researches show that some of the factors responsible for these flooding are lack of drainage, blockage of gutters and obstruction of water passages. Predictions have had it, this year that little has been experienced of the rain as far as more rains are expected to fall in large volumes.
This year, the rains are fast approaching and the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has predicted over 200 days of rainfall across the country.

Week five of MTV Base’s Official Naija Top 10 sees 2Face make a triumphant return to the number one slot.

After a week at number two, 2Face’s "Ihe Neme” has resumed the top position, elbowing out P Square who make a surprise exit from the Top 10 altogether. Looking like a key contender for number one next week is Phyno Ft Olamide with “Ghostmode” which moves up to number two position.

This week sees two new entries into the definitive poll of Naija music taste: Tiwa Savage’s “Without My Heart” debuts at number eight; while “Asiko” from Darey Feat. Ice Prince & Jozi creeps in at number ten.“Asiko” marks Ice Prince’s second concurrent chart entry as he already features at number five with “More”.

Brown was partying at the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood Saturday night and was caught holding hands with the blonde clubgoer. He even gave her a full bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne.

Witnesses said Brown and his posse left the nightclub with a few girls in tow and piled into two vehicles.

Earthquake near Iran's Bushehr nuclear power station

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake has struck in south-west Iran, not far from the country's only nuclear power station, the US Geological Survey reports.

The quake's epicentre is 89km (55 miles) from Bushehr, the USGS said.
People on social media reported feeling the quake across the Gulf in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. There is no word yet on the extent of any damage.
Iran's nuclear programme is the subject of international concern amid fears it is trying to build nuclearweapons
Tehran has always insisted its work at Bushehr and other sites is for civilian purposes only.
The USGS said the quake struck at 11:52 GMT at a depth of 10km (6.2 miles).
Iran's seismological centre in Bushehr province, linked to Tehran University, registered a 6.1 magnitude quake close to the town of Kaki, some 60 miles south of Bushehr

Brown and Rihanna have not spent much time together recently as he is on a promotional tour for his forthcoming album "X" and she is on her "Diamonds" concert tour.

His intimate moment with the mystery blonde comes as a surprise after Brown let his insecure, vulnerable side show during a recent interview with New York hip-hop radio station Power 105.1.

Nollywood star, Ngozi Nwosu, discharged from hospital

                 Ailing popular actress, Ngozi Nwosu, of Fuji House of Commotion, has been discharged from a London hospital. She recently flew to the United Kingdom to have a kidney transplant, and according to sources, she has bounced back to good health after surgery.
                 Although, details of her return to the country still remain sketchy, the pictures she sent showed she has dramatically transformed from her emaciated look to good health. For some time now, the Fuji House of Commotion star, who plays a troublesome character called Peace, had been a shadow of her old self as she continued to emaciate following her battle with kidney-related ailment.

Joke Silva: My most heartbreaking experience

Veteran actress, Joke Silva has shared her most heart breaking experience. It was the day she met a 10 year-old prostitute while volunteering for her church, This Present House.
In an exclusive chat with The Entertainer, the mother of three recounted her ordeal thus: “Our church, This Present House, runs several shelters for drug addicts and people who have been trafficked within and outside Nigeria; you will be surprised what happens within Nigeria.
“We have 10 year old girls being sold into prostitution. One was actually younger than 10. She had been trafficked and was being molested. It was so heart rendering. We had to buy her from the whorehouse because the madam who ran the whorehouse insisted the girl was a client’s favourite. Can you imagine?”
However, the actress adds that there is hope because some of the girls have been rescued from the streets courtesy of This Present House and are thriving in rehabilitation. “Today, we have been able to rehabilitate them in the shelter. They have developed their skills. Some are in boarding schools and one is in the university. The bottom line is that with just a little effort, things could be better,” she said.
UN Ambassador
Last year, against the growing global challenge of trafficked persons and illegal immigration, Joke and rapper, MI were appointed UN Peace Ambassadors. Consequently, she is bringing her wealth of experience to bear. Now, she is collaborating with Osita Oseneme of Patriotic Citizens Initiatives who was a victim of human trafficking. Osita has published a book entitled, The Mirage, which chronicles his harrowing 91 days in the largest desert in the world, the Sahara desert.
“The trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants has become a challenge worldwide. And the United Nations, aware of the implications, decided to get goodwill ambassadors all over the world in order to bring focus to the challenge,” Joke said, shedding more light on her UN appointment.
Lamenting the scourge of human trafficking and smuggling of migrants across borders Joke stated: “From Africa, MI and I were appointed. MI is handling smuggling of migrants while I am handling trafficking in persons and we work with organizations like NAPTIP. What happens is that because people are looking for better opportunities and coupled with the belief that outside their countries life will be better because of what they have seen on TV, internet and magazines, they try to get out of their countries illegally like in the case of Comrade Osememe who tried to leave the country but did not make a headway because he was duped by touts who promised him greener pastures in Europe. He barely escaped arrest at the airport when security operatives narrowly missed arresting him. Then someone told him, ‘don’t worry, we can help you get to Europe and thus began 91-days of horror which he was lucky to survive. “
Ignorance
Joke says the root of the problem is ignorance because information about how one can get things done easily is not available so a lot of people fall prey to touts. “I get very alarmed when I hear people say they paid as much as N400, 000 for a US visa. I am like ‘how?’ Did you get 50 years? Osita narrowly escaped the police but somebody else came and said, ‘look, it’s quite easy to get to Europe. You don’t necessarily need to go by air to get to your dreams. There’s a path through the desert and it doesn’t take that long,” she narrated.
Continuing, the actress said Oseneme fell again because he was desperate to make it to Europe but ended up spending 91 days in the desert during which time he was attacked over and over again by bandits, preyed upon by fellow Nigerians who were stranded in the desert. He watched helplessly as men and women were forced into prostitution or were harvested for their organs. “All these happened but nobody was aware because there was no information and this is sad. If we are to change the situation, information is important, education is key,” she added.
According to Joke, a major problem is that Africans tend to see Europe as a place where the streets are paved with gold and so Nigerian youths, plagued by poverty and deprivation will do anything under the sun to make it to Europe.
“In Africa, we tend to think that Europe is the place where the streets are paved with gold but that’s not the case. I was at a programme recently and I said ‘look, I was in the United States, on Rodeo Drive where you have all the rich people. Right there I saw people, white people sleeping on the streets.
“So, you see, there are so many poor people all over the world. What we are trying to say is that rather than leave your country, why don’t you just find an alternative? Whatever you think the other country has, come and develop it in your country. All over the world, people are facing challenges whether we like it or not. If we want things to be better for our country, let’s stay here and fight it collectively. We need to fight for what we need for our country. We don’t have to be violent about it. There are many options that will work for civil society. Going outside of this country illegally is not an option.
“The reason people are trafficked is either for their organs or to work as sex slaves and most times people fall victims because of the lies that they are told. Most times, these people are deceived by madams who pose as business women. They come back from probably Italy, build a couple of houses and say ‘I can take so many people with me and they will make a lot of money. They will come back and do the same thing I am doing with money’, and young people are misled.”
Note of warning
Are you planning to travel out of the country illegally? Are you seeking greener pastures in the Europe at all cost? Joke has a warning for you. Hear her: “When these people go, they never make enough money to come back. They are turned into sex slaves as soon as they arrive. Back in Nigeria, they are made to go to shrines to swear to fake gods. They are vulnerable and manipulated. If they are lucky they get to the other side but many die before that.”
But why is Joke so passionate about this project? “Because I don’t think anybody should live that kind of life. I really do believe that we need to demystify the Western world. I studied there. I remember one of the reasons why I didn’t stay over there as an actress was that I did not want to work there. I made up my mind that if I was ever going to work overseas, it would be because I was invited.”
Nollywood to the rescue
The delectable actress believes that film is a tool, which could be used to create awareness about issues of human trafficking and illegal immigration, and she says its thumbs up to Nollywood for telling our stories the right way.
“We need to tell stories that give hope to people in Nigeria. That’s what Nollywood has done for not only Nigeria, not only Africa but also for the blacks in the Diaspora. Nollwood tells our stories as just human beings with no baggage. There’s always a kind of stereotyping in more established film traditions when it comes to the black story. In Nollywood, we just tell stories, there is no stereotyping. What we need to do now is to tell people stories that give them a feeling of hope about this country,” she stressed.
Home sweet home
The thespian reveals that plans are underway to do a screen adaptation for Oseneme’s book, The Mirage which chronicles his 91 days of horror in the desert and how he almost lost his life a couple of times.
“There are plans to make a movie out of the book because his story just tells it as it is. One of the amazing things about Oseneme’s story is that he survived the experience and had the resolve to come back home. The bottom line of that story is that at the end of the day, he realized that his country was the best place. He realized that there is no place like his own country,” Joke concluded

 MTO and their obsession with Kim K's pregnancy...lol. They say they have scientific evidence to prove she faked her baby bump. Below is what they wrote...

This weekend MediaTakeOut.com showed you an IMAGE that was sent out by Kim Kardashian - that supposedly proved that she was pregnant.

Well MediaTakeOut.com had a Photoshop expert look at it . . . and we were told that the pics that Kim Instagrammed are certified fakes!!!

How do we know - look closely at the FIRST PIC. There is a "WHITE SPACE" next to her bump - that CLEARLY does not match with the background. Our photoshop expert explains:

Look at the first picture, right under her boob, the background is totally white. What happened to the dressing room background? And it isn't her t-shirt either. It's the same right by the hand holding the camera. The background is all white. This is a bad photoshop job.

And the SECOND pic is also altered. If you look closely, there is a "BLACK TRIANGLE" next to Kim's leg, which is NOT in the first pic. And the triangle DOES NOT match with the background. Our expert adds:

There is a protrusion coming out of the side of her pants closest to the mirror. It isn't in the first picture and she has barely changed positions. . . .This is easy to spot.

So now tht we KNOW FOR A FACT that the pics were PHOTOSHOPPED. The next question is WHY. Is Kim trying to "PLAY UP" her bump . . . or is the WHOLE PREGNANCY FRAUDULENT!!!!
