The late Nigerian\African Legend, Fela Kuti in an old interview said the most shocking reasons behind his acquisition of many wives. In case you don't know, he was the Afro beat creator, popularly called 'Abami Eda' ( the weird one), and he married 27 wives in a day.

What attracted Fela to the many wives he had?
"Sex! I thought they were sexy and f*ckable. That's what attracts me to a woman first. Some came to my house on their own. Others , I had come. Why? because I wanted to fu*k them! That was all.
