Hip hop star Young Jeezy has been arrested on charges of battery,
false imprisonment and making terrorist threats against his own teenage
son, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The charges stem
back to September 2012.
Jeezy, 36, turned himself in to the police on Friday (Jan. 3) after a
grand jury warrant was issued. According to the incident report
obtained by TMZ, the rapper allegedly slammed his son into a glass
shower door, then dragged him to a bedroom and physically assaulted him.
The report also stated that Jeezy's son claimed his dad said, "I will
put a bullet in your head right now."
The rapper was released on $45,000 bail.
Young Jeezy has a track record of run-ins with the law. In 2006, he
was arrested for an alleged shootout involving friends in Miami’s South
Beach and charged with two counts of carrying a concealed firearm without a permit, Billboard reported. Then in 2008, Jeezy was arrested for a DUI by Atlanta Police, just days after he was implicated in a major cocaine-dealing ring, MTV News reported.
